Please note that these programs are only open to professionals working in academic fields and in secondary schools.
Study of the United States Institutes for Scholars are intensive, post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours. The program’s purpose is to provide mid-career (30-50 years), foreign university faculty and other scholars the opportunity to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, and institutions.
The ultimate goal is to strengthen curricula and to improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions abroad.
The four week academic residency will be complemented by a one week study tour. The aim of the study tour is to showcase the rich cultural, geographic, and ethnic diversity of the United States. The course is to take place over the course of five weeks of May 2015.
